Who has not asked their BP. I've only asked my Matron and our daughters.
I know I asked this before but I just curious if I am the only one who hasn't asked yet.
I'm not worried about dresses b/c we are probably using DB and I know their dresses come in quick.

A few years ago, I was asked at Thanksgiving to by in my friend's Memorial Day weekend wedding. She had already chosen the DB bridesmaid dresses, so I went to DB where I live over Christmas to try on the dress and order. And the dress was discontinued starting the next year, but they had already stopped ordering new ones. And I had to get a size smaller than I was (since her sister had already ordered and they did not have my size available anywhere in the country!). If she had waited, she would have had to get different dresses and her sister would have purchased 2!
PS. It came in and wouldn't close, and I lost 13 pounds in 2 weeks so that I wouldn't be half-zipped walking down the aisle....
Just a story of warning regarding waiting too long!

The only thing I would say is that I wanted to give my girls time to be able so save up money and what not. When do you plan on asking them?

Really soon. I'm not the typical bride anyway. I don't need them to do anything but show up to the church and the RH.
I do not want a shower.
I'll plan my own Bachlorette party anyone that can make it fine.
I'm very low maintence when it comes to my BP.
Not set shoes, jewelry or having to get their hair and make up done. That's just me though.
I figured I would be the only one.
I'm gonna ask them all by the end of the month.

I have not asked my MOH yet. She lives in Virginia, so I wanted to do it face to face, but timing is not good.

i wouldn't wait that much longer. i know DB is quick but they should really order by the end of this year or the very beginning of the next to give everyone time for alterations as well

I'm asking 2 of my BMs on our one-year mark. Our best man and MOH knew they got the honor. FH requested we wait until our one-year mark before asking anybody.

I asked all of my girls pretty much right away only because I have a huge BP and I wanted them to have enough time to think about it or start saving up money if they needed to

i haven't asked my girls to be in my bridal party yet. friendships change and i just want to be sure i'm making the right decision.

Once we set a date..hopefully in the next two weeks..I will ask them then.
We have our MOH and flower girl asked already.

The only reason why I asked my bp so soon is because the dresses I want for them are last years make, and I don't want them to be discontinued!! I will probably send them for a fitting in December and order them right away!

ITA! I already had two girls drop out and needed to replace them. I should of waited but I was on a high of being engaged lol
