I'm from East Meadow. I grew up right down the block from the jail (Amy Fisher spent some time there!) and the Nassau County Medical Center.

by the way Cira, hows the house coming along? have you moved in ? what rooms are you doing first ?? its so exciting ! and take it day by day, i have days where I get annoyed because project # 25, and 26 are not done yet. The list of projects goes on and on... I have to say we have done alot in the 2 years that we've been here, and oh so much more to go.. its great to personalize a home to your liking !

I miss Tri-County! I live in Virginia now, but everytime I go home I have to stop at Tri-County. I was reading the 80's thread earlier and I was cracking up because I used to buy all my slouch socks from there in the 80's, along with the pink lip gloss #44 and my big belts!!!

nassau here, but i know what you mean about feeling like everyone's from suffolk! i especially feel that way because im north shore nassau! (great neck).
