Awe...some people go through this. I would consider it normal!! If I wasnt so busy being a full time student/full time work....
We paid for everything, did everything and planned it in 6 months. IT was sooooo much fun!!! It was awesome that my Dh was so willing to create and help with EVERYTHING. BUTTT im def not going through withdrawl, it was def alot of work!!!. NOWWW we are too busy focusing on OTHER things LIKE TTC!!!
I still love the girls on here and I come on here and help out as much as I can...Cuz I remember when I first came on here....It def gave me some great ideas!!!

Nope, I went thru it...after so long of planning and my mind constantly on wedding mode it was hard to stop thinking about it even tho it was over.
Come to the NW board more often-we will keep you busy
Re: Am I the only one going thru wedding withdraw?
Nope! I'm totally going through it too. It sounds super pathetic, but I was SO depressed for over a month after my wedding. As stressful as the planning was, I wish I could do it all over again...
I know how you feel!!

I am too!!! I don't really miss the actual planning, but I definitely miss all the excitement leading up to the wedding, and the actual wedding day. When I look at pictures from the wedding, I think, that was great, I wish I could live that day all over again!

I was totally there....and it does get better!
Hell, there still are days - 6 months later- when I would die for another wedding. It goes by so fast...when you think of all the time you anticipate it and all the planning, and then it's over. Of COURSE you'd have withdrawal! Perfectly normal!!

I certainly am! I think it's normal, that when you put so much into something, you miss it after it's gone.
Don't worry. It will get easier!

Re: Am I the only one going thru wedding withdraw?
My DH teases me about this actually. Esp since I am the boards giving advise. I was such a detail person that I got really wrapped up in things for soo many months that once it ends it does feel a bit strange.
I have focused on other things whenever I get those empty depressed feelings like... Making our honeymoon book- (snapfish.com), picking out the photos for our wedding album , and Now remodeling our home and thinking about where I am going to put my *Fav wedding pix of us on what wall
Just throw yourself into something productive.. and it will pass. When you can't satisfy the hunger just drop by here and post post post
It def Helps!

Never went thru withdrawal.... didn't have time.. left right after the wedding for the honeymoon and then came back and a day later started a new job!!!

I agree....I think about how I would redo my wedding and what I would do different, but the desire to do planning was over pretty quick. It is amazing how little time has really passed, but how long ago it seems

i dont miss the stress but i look back at the excitement leading up to the wedding & wish i could re-do that all over again!
i think back to the day before the wedding & think about how lucky i was to have the wedding & honeymoon about to happen.
but, on the other hand, i am SOOOOO happy to be married to my husband and to have our own life together....its so great! (we didnt live together before the wedding)
i must confess i still watch some wedding shows though...haha! and it seems that everyone i know is getting engaged recently so i can 'live through them'..hehe

I don't miss the actual planning, but it certainly was a great thing to look forward to!
DH and I are now looking forward to eventually buying a house and starting a family.
