im working & i can not even take off if i wanted to becasue too many people requested that day off already

I'm lucky...we consider the day a 'floating' holiday. We can have the day off, or use it at any other time after the holiday during the year. We got 5 of these days out of the year (MLK, President's, Columbus, Election, and Vetern's Day). Since DW is working, I'm saving the day for some other time.
