Okay, I have everything done except for transportation from the hotel, flowers and hair trials. I have to find a new hair person because mine went and got knocked up and quit doing hair!! I called for a hair trial and they told me I have too much time. My OCD is killing me!!! It is telling me that I should have had a hair trial already!!!
Today I received my sample invitations and picked out the one I like, Tiffany colors of course. I just feel like this whole wedding planning has taken over my existence and I am trying to be too perfect!

I wouldn't stress about the hair trial yet! You still have lots of time. I haven't been for one yet, and I am getting married in Oct!
I think it's good that you have so much done, now you can relax and enjoy your engagement.

No, you're not too ahead of yourself. I got things done the month after I got engaged. You have time but you'll see that it's worth it in the end when you have everything done, then you can just relax. As for your hair, of course they're going to say it's too early so just wait on that I guess.

GOOD FOR YOU!!!! I am working hard to try and get everything done now so later...I can rest and do little things...like make favors etc.

Exactly!! I can relax and make favors next spring. I am nuts, but at least I can admit it.

You oculd do flowers now if you want - the florist will be able to show you flowers that are in season now which coincides with your wedding next June.
Do you have a new stylist yet? I would start looking since it can be a trying experience (I have been looking for a good one for a while now and keep striking out.) I don't necessarily mean a hair trial - but if you need someone new to cut your hair, you don't want your first or second cut with someone right before the wedding.
What kind of transportation - for the OOT guests or you? Can the hotel hook you up with someone they recommend?
BTW, Water's Edge is my mother's favorite restaurant.

I am looking for a shuttle or mini bus to take the guests from manhattan to water's edge. Everyone tells me how great water's edge is, I have yet to try the food

Well, the thing about doing everything early is I have changed my mind several times about everything (except FI luckily!) in the year and a half I have been engaged! Even the dress, DEFINITELY hair and flowers. Take your time, look around for what you like, but leave options for which flowers, what hair style open. Good luck!

Dont go crazy you have gotten so much done. You will probably change your mind so many times from now until then so I would wait with the hair trial for now. All the big stuff is done. How the hell did you do all that so quick, by the way???
