Am I wrong? (kinda long)

SO... my mom got her dress on Tuesday. She ended up with a lace olive color 3 piece dress by Damianou which we both really liked. Originally she was going for another style by Damianou but couldn't decide on a color. About 2 weeks ago we saw the purple and both liked it. Then I got to thinking and told her I'd kinda of rather her not wear purple since that's what my girls are wearing and I'd like to have some other colors then JUST purple in pictures.
She kept asking my opinion over and over again and told her the same thing but ALSO told her, 'It's your dress... your the one who has to wear it so get what you like.'

So on the way to the warehouse Tuesday she asked me again and again I told her the same thing. She tried on the dress she did get last week and did like it as well.
So last night she tells me, 'I'm sorry I didn't get the original dress I liked in purple. You shouldn't have talked me out of it' and we had a huge fight then and now about how I'm to blame because she's unhappen with her choice.
I say, 'well.. you asked my opinion over and over and over again so I told you. I also told you to get what you want 100000 times!' She is saying that the last time she asked me I should have given in to what she wanted and not told her my honest opinion cuz I knew she really wanted the purple. Mind you, this is a person who has NO problem telling me her opinion ALL THE TIME, good or bad, weather she's asked or not.

It's like you are an adult... if I don't agree with you fine, but make your own decision and don't blame me if you made the wrong one! She says, 'you should know how I am Adriana. If you give me your opinion I care about it a lot and will eventually go along with it even if I don't agree.' Sorry but I don't think that's my problem to worry about!! Then don't ask me 1000x's how I feel!

I don't think you're wrong at all. Her dress sounds gorgeous. And you had valid reasons for not wanting her to wear the same color. She's a grownup, she'll have to get over it. Let her have a temper tantrum, but I don't think you are wrong

You are not wrong at all. I think she was trying to tell you something without actually saying it. Many times people think we can read their minds. Unfortunately we can't. She should not be blaming you for her choice!

Your not wrong at all!!!!!!! I ask the mom's not the get the same color as the girls and then FMIL went out and got the same color as the girls. I saw it and told her to bring it back. I don't really care if that was bridezilla, because I made one request with their dresses. She now has a new dress and won't tell me the color of the dress.
