I'm going over our initial guest list (AGAIN!) and I don't know what to do.
I'm a legal secretary and I officially work for four attorneys: P, B, M and A.
I plan on inviting P, B and M to the wedding because I get along great with all of them. But, A and me don't have any kind of relationship. He's never rude to me, but the only time he talks to me is when he asks me to make a copy or something for him. He never fills out my evaluation at review time and not that I expect anything from anybody, but except for sending me two emails when I first got sick and I told him that I'd be out on disability while I got treated for the lymphoma, I haven't heard anything from him. P, B, and M have sent me flowers, get well cards, are always sending me emails asking me how I'm doing. M's mother even sends me emails to see how I am!
I wasn't invited to A's wedding in July, so do you think it will be rude of me not to invite A to the wedding even though I'm going to invite P, B and M?
And I did I totally confuse all of you with that?

Re: Am I wrong not to invite this person?
Do you think the others would tell A about it? Did A invite the others to the July wedding? I'm torn here because it seems like there might be trouble if you dont... this sounds obnoxious but do you think A would cover the cost of the plate? If so, then I'd say invite A just to avoid trouble/awkwardness... if you really never talk, that person may just decide on their own not to rsvp yes.

M went to A's wedding. I don't think P and B were invited.
I'm leaning towards being politically correct and inviting him. But I'd much rather put him on the 'B' list and give the spot on the 'A' list to someone I'd rather have there. If that makes sense.

Put him on the B list, you still have time to decide.
