Does anyone actually read this? What about the other one---Metro?
They hand them out all over the place in Manhattan and Queens! My husband always takes it...Just wondering if anyone else does too...

I don't!!! I actually find those guys that hand them out in front of Penn sooooo annoying..they are always in the way!!!

I see people go specifically to get it.
I took it once, b/c I was holding bags awkawardly on my arms & my hand was just sort of sticking out, & soemoen put it directlu in my hand, & another time I took once , b/c I wanted to read the cover story about Ashlee Simpson on SNL, but not enough to buy a real newspapaper.
The people in Times Square try like mad to get rid of them. They are free, but I guess the mor ethey distibute, the better advertising they will get.

I don't read it - but might have considered it if the guys who peddle them at my subway stop didn't SHOUT in your face first thing in the morning! They are way too pushy and it's really annoying. We know it's free, we'll take one if we want it! I don't know about other locations, but my subway stop has the most obnoxious people handing these out - they get in your face and practically shove these stupid papers down your throat! Very annoying after a long (and usually LATE) commute!

AM NY is awesome. There is a distributor at my subway stop in Brooklyn so in the morning I am greeted with a smile and something to read on the train! It's great!!

I'll only take one if I really want to read what is on the front page. Otherwise I find the whole paper is only a paragraph here and there long about a topic.
Thankfully the distrubters I have near my stops are all pretty nice, and some are funny.

LOL I know, I swear more than once I was swatted in the face by one of those guys
I prefer AMNY though, to Metro. AM is stapled and Metro is not, so it's easier to read on the train. And I like the layout and the 'Buzz' in AM better.
