Awww, it's nice to be missed

Sorry I've been MIA of late. I'm an Olympics addict and found out that FH is the same so we've been all about watching the games at night. We also had FMIL over for the weekend. It was really nice. Took her to Riverview for their Sunday brunch so she could check it out and we could see how the food was. She loved it and was so happy with our ideas etc. Was really nice. Plus it gave her another chance to meet my parents. Food was great....I definitely recommend their brunch. There were actually 3 bridal showers going on while we were there so that was neat.

Also been dealing with a lot of family stuff. Currently helping my brothers reno their homes so we can move both of them this weekend. Good times. Have also made it a point to spend more time with my grandmother. Grandmother is suffering from dementia and she's really going downhill fast. It's scary and this past Sunday I realized she probably will not live to see me get married which just breaks my heart. Have enough bouquet charms and I really do not want to add another. Really killing me.

So that's what I've been up to. When I get some time I do check in and see what everyone's up to. Sorry this is so long. Will definitely be around when I can.

Thanks sweetie, that means a lot. It's been rough. Just scary how fast she's gone from getting by to removing her blouse in a department store and seeing joe dimaggio on the tv trying to come get her.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother, dementia is really tough to deal with.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandma. FH's grandmother is going through the same exact thing. Some days are ok, and some days aren't. Stick in there, I know it's hard.
