A DOC is a Day of Coordinator. They are basically there to help you with everything the day of your wedding (and before).

it's funny how wedding lingo starts to creep into your vocabulary. i keep wanting to say bm, fsil, etc. to people before i realize they think i'm nuts.

i will say that booking cheeky relieved so much stress. they will take care of every little detail that i won't remember. they've been great so far just even to bounce ideas off of or for opinions on vendors.

for blondie boudoir, i wanted to take pics for fh but was no where near the weight i wanted to be. she made me feel so incredibly comfortable and fh absolutely loves the pics. she has a great eye for shots and her deals are amazing.

my sister had to correct me on using FH instead of FI where ive seen used on other boards!

LOL.. When I 1st started and I was reading ppls posts I was like WTH does this n that mean? lol.. To maybe help you a bit.. if you mouse over chat on the top middle of your page/screen you will see a pop out menu and it will say 'chat lingo'. Click that and it will help with the abbreviations.

I have heard a lot of mixed reviews on here about DOC's. Some say it isn't necessary, others say it was a great decision to have one.

IMO, I think the cost will be worth it. I want to have a piece of mind knowing there is someone on my side to handle all the what if's, to keep us in check with our time line, to make sure things are done the way they are supposed to be, etc... I think it will be $$ well spent.

Awesome! I have been emailing back and forth a bit with Cheeky Glam today.. they seem great! Awaiting some more info from Blondie and hoping I am able to see some more work.
