Today I went down to the wholesale district in Manhattan, went to the wholesale flowers stores and supplies too. One store I found 75 votives for $25, they had had 12 vases for $65 and this was for the large square ones.
For the flowers, i found two dozen roses for $17 another store had $20 for two dozen roses...I was also looking at the cherry blossom branches and they were $35 for 5 pieces if anyone is interested.
They had 100 yards of Ribbon for $3.95 and 250 for $7.50, which ***** bc last night i paid $22 for less than 100 yards, wish i wouldve seen this first.
I definitely suggest for anybody doing their own centerpieces to go get flowers from there, and its good for other DIY projects and supplies.

You're welcome...I know i couldnt believe it, i was looking at the votives and i saw $25 and i was like hmmm for how many, when i saw that it was for 75 votives i was like ...so im gonna go back there with a car to carry everything in, thats the only reason i didnt buy it today

lol thank you...Well my friend is throwing a bridal shower, and I am doing my e-party so we said to just go look at flowers in the wholesale flowers district, i didnt know it was a bunch of other type of wholesale stores

Well for the flowers i asked how far in advance should i order it because until today i didnt know it would be a problem since my e-party is right after v-day which causes a bit of a problem lol...But they said i can order it about 3 days in advance...For alot of the other things you can just buy it that day.

Yeah for ribbon, votives, vases, they even had favor boxes, organza bags and a bunch of other things lol

Yeah i didnt think about it either, infact some places said that roses are limited right after bc of how much they sell for v-day lol...but they said they think it should be fine for when i need it lol.

Well they also do arrangements too, this one guy was doing this real nice low cp, and then another store there was a woman getting married soon and she was looking through their wedding flowers book and telling them what she wants.
