I ordered the Rodney Dangerfield 3 DVD Set for my Dad for xmas- when I received the package, the DVDs were open! I sent it back to Amazon immediately after filling out their return forms on their site, and via email, I was told that the return would be processed in 3-5 days and my CC would be refunded...
fast forward to today- card STILL not refunded. Emailed last week, no answer. Emailed again last Friday, no response. AND I couldn't even find a customer service # on their site! I had to search elsewhere for a phone #. Obviously, I'm not the only one irritated that there's no #, the 'invisibility of amazon.com's #' was in a NY Times article back in December.
I was just on hold for 47 minutes (on my CELL PHONE), and then when I finally DID get a rep, HE PUT ME ON HOLD AGAIN! And he was eating on the phone, which totally pisses me off.
I demanded my refund, put up a big stink about how it was THEIR fault, not mine....and finally, after getting 2 supervisors, I was told that my card would be credited on 2-3 days. I will continue to check my online CC statement, and these people better be telling the truth!
This was the first time I've ever ordered from amazon, and probably the last. Anyone else have issues with them?!?
