amazon.com registry

Any of you who registered with amazon -- do you find people utilize it less/more/about the same as your other registries?

i know if i was the gift-buyer i'd be all about it since they do free shipping on pretty much everything if your order is over $25

we are going to have to have almost all of our gifts shipped because my family is in michigan. and it seems like a lot of places slam people with shipping costs and i dont want to feel bad about that.

any info?

We have an Amazon registry and have received a few things off of it already. FH's cousin and her husband bought us our George Foreman grill off of it for our e-party, and someone also bought us a digital camera off of it.

we have one and no one has purchased anything from it... also it's the most annoying one because things go in and out of stock constantly... at least the items i've registered for

I absolutely LOVE amazon and i like having a registry there because i like being able to put just about anything on there (we registered for a ps3 lol) ...

but i do agree with Piper in that it's annoying that thing go out of stock or that the price is constantly fluctuating.

even so, i love amazon haha

I think it depends on the age group attending your event..I know many older people might not use it.. however, it is cool to register for practically anything.

I only registered at BBB and macys--I'm in lovee with BBB registry

I had one - we only had about 9 items on it but mostly pricey stuff and everything was purchased from it! I should have put more on there from the beginning but I did not think people would like it as much as they did!

I would definitely recommend it!
