Amber Alert

I was driving on the GCP tonight and saw this on the sign that shows traffic delays. I never saw this before did anyone else?

Amber Alert is a kidnapping.

If it's the one I saw on the news this morning she's still missing I think it was her father that kidnapped her and they think he's headed to either NYC or Florida. He also hijacked a car to get away.

Karen's right I saw it driving yesterday and on the news..

they said they had reports in Delaware...not sure if anything further south since...

I was glad to see it...good thing there was no traffic when I was driving home...b/c I would be torn then...

do you think they would switch back and forth?

Yeah, they say he carjacked a Gray Daewood, with Jersey plates. He kidnapped his daughter at Gunpoint

He's also wanted in Florida for Drugs, I feel sorry for that little girl, I hope they find them soon

where have you seen the amber alert? I just checked on the news websites and havent' found a thing! You would think this would be ALL over the news. All I can find is the war with iraq related stories (which are impt too, but you would think this would be right up there with them!).

I also saw the alerts on the Northern State and Meadowbrook Parkways yesterday. On the NSP, the traffic was literally at a crawl for a mile, I thought there was an accident. Then we passed the signed and I realized everyone was stopping to read it...

I hope this alerts works and the girl is returned unharmed.
