ambitions to reality ..

what did you want to be in HS - are you in that career now?

i know for me, i always wanted to be an Athletic Trainer / PT ... went to college and graduated with an MS in Athletic Training and exercise science. Now I am in Medical Sales

I wanted to be a lawyer or a marie biologist.....now I am neither...I am a purchase agent....now I get to buy stuff all day!

I've always wanted to be a teacher. But the ideas of architect and interior designer entered my mind then. Sometimes i wish i went that track

I wanted to be a pediatrician. I went so far as to applying to med school, then realized that it wasn't for me. Now Im in grad school and I do basic science research so its not that far off....

When I was in high school I wanted to be a fashion designer, I wanted to go to FIT sooo bad, now Im work in a Broker Dealer Firm going for my 7 series exam to trade stocks

I wanted to be a SAHM my whole life
when it came time to choose a career i chose teaching - and knew the first day of college that i made the wrong choice - i got such terrible anxiety even just thinking about it so i switched my major to what I LOVE ( English and Italian)

Now - i use neither and work for the government. But I love my job

Unfortunately, I will most likely never get to be a SAHM but my job has a great day care!

I have a degree in acting, and tons of psychology credits...
but I am currently 'self employed'

I wanted to do journalism but I decided not to go through with it because I don't think that career is stable enough for me...so I decided to go with teaching english instead...I think it was a good choice because I love kids..

I wanted to be a Property Mngr./RE Agent..and you never know cuz its the family business...who knows i can still achieve that ambition...

But yea....now im an anaylst what is not bad but I really hate desk jobs....so after marriage there may be a real big change! YAY

i always wanted to be a Cop... then my criminal justice teacher told me i should be a Lawyer b/c i like to arguee. When i was in HS i went to beauty school did that my first summer after i graduated and HATED every last min of it.. went to college for 3 years got my associates in nothing then went to boces for medical assisting and LOOOOOVE my job. Now im in nursing school and love it!!!! but let me just remind you that growing up i screamed and cried at the sight of needles as well as if i saw my own blood i was out cold!!! so here i am now drawing blood and taking care of people.. totally out of the ordinary for me! i shocked and amazed everyone i know!
