American airline or delta

Trying to figure which airline I should take for my hm becuase they are very similiar in times and prices

If they're both around the same price and the times are about the same, I would make my determination based on what type of plane they're flying and what seats are left (you can usually 'view seats' before you purchase). Then I'd check out the seat reviews on seatguru.com

ok - well I'm really partial to delta right now because they give better frequent flier deals, but I've flown American quite a bit too and I can honestly say I haven't had a bad flight with either one.

I think Delta is now charging more for luggage than American though so maybe that should be your deciding factor.

That's a good point about the luggage. It's $15 for the first bag. BUT if you're in an international flight, the first bag is free!

I flew delta a lot last summer because I traveled a lot for work and we got double points on our skymiles. I liked them a lot. I very rarely had any problems and got upgraded to first class twice! Once they even got me on an earlier flight like right before it left because my flight would have been delayed. I believe they still give you crackers too.

I haven't flown much (or at all actually) on American so I can't say how I feel about them.

I wouldn't go with either, but if I had to pick 1, I would pick Delta.

I've had too many bad experiences with American Airlines......i was double booked on a flight (or something like that back in 2001), they cancelled my whole itinerary, they lost my luggage and couldn't find it for 3 days when i went to Hawaii, then I had to fight with them to get reimbursed for clothes that I had to buy.

Delta ruined my brand new suitcase last Dec when I came home from Vegas.

I would say if you could get Jet Blue, I would go with them. I think it's worth it for a little bit of extra money.

I am a Delta FF (my territories for work are Boston and DC) and they operate the shuttle thru both. FH is also a SkyMiles junkie and we LOVE Delta.

I've never even had a delay. I've flown it to Cabo, LA, Phoenix, Miami and obviously DC and Boston excessively.

I flew American once and had a bad flight. And a guy I work with told me he took it the other day and they took AN HOUR AND A HALF to put all of their luggage on the conveyer thing. AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!!!!!!

we took american to Puerto Rico and Delta back I prefered Delta because of American's head rest. Being short, it pushed my head forward. Dh thought it was uncomfortable. Delta had the movie also, bring your own headset.

Yes, we paid 25 I think on Delta for the second bag, not American. But American ticket was bought b4 the fuel surcharge. Maybe it will change again with fuel prices down. Also, we got a smaller luggage with wheels to carry on for our next flight to save the extra bag fee. You see a lot of people with carry on now.

DELTA IS THE WORST AIRLINE EVER!!! I just flew with them to florida and it took them 4 hours to tell us our flight was cancelled then all they gave us was a $7 breakfast voucher and they were so rude and nasty. Ive always had problems with them but i flew them bc it was cheapest but i would have spent more to get where i had to be on time and without attitudes. They also charged me 12 times for my tix and took 3 weeks to realase the $ in my bank account it was a mess and they didnt care that they had my bank account tied up. and then charged me $25 per person bc i had to call and they rebooked the tix over the phone and that i fianally got back a month later

AMERICAN ALL THE WAY!!!
