I love the show! I was anxiously awaiting the season premiere and I was so happy JJ was safe! This was the only show that I was really looking forward to seeing. You should check out the nbc website for details on the next episode.

I think American Dreams is one of the best shows on TV! Last night's episode was SO good. I was crying at the end of JJ and Beth's conversation!

Good show. What do you think will happen with JJ? Will they get together? Looks like she is going to start talking to that guy at the restaurant that asked her if she is prego.

I know I don't want Beth with that singer, I hope JJ comes home. Remember how sad it was last season with Jimmy Reilly in the wheelchair.

I just hate that the family 'blames' beth for getting herself pregnant...last I checked it took two :)
but they would never blame their precious JJ PRYOR :)
beth should just say scr** all of you pryors, I'm going with the singer guy.

Absolutely LOVE the show!! Couldn't wait for it to start again!

I hope JJ comes home safe and that he and Beth get back together. I was so happy that she told him and that he called her. I just hope that he doesnt find comfort in the arms of that nurse.

last night was excellent! i'm so glad it started up again!

I hope beth and jj end up together....
It was a very sad episode with JJ's platoon and the conversation at the end... boo hoo.

ok- well,
JJ is in an Army hospital, with the man he saved, and gets a purple heart, and finds out that the rest of his troup was killed :(

Meg and Roxyanne's school has a new preist, and he is imposing all these new rules (longer skirts, etc..) and they are mad that their senior year will be 'ruined' with these rules.
All the girls from the school think it was cool that meg was arrested in the protest (season finale last year) with sam, and they all want to stage a 'protest' in the school (which the do at the end) and eat lunch in the bathroom, and wear 'no uniforms' with shorter skirts.

Patty likes the new priest, and defends him to Meg and dosen't think she should go against him.

Sam almost looses his scholarship to college b/c the dean of the school found out about his arrest in the protest, so he toys with 'appologizing' or not. (dad wants him to, he dosent) but he ends up doing so, and keeps the scholarship.

Johy Pryor is running for Mayor and they are putting attacks against Meg for going against the war, in which her brother is fighting. Mrs. Pryor is starting to become more involved in women's voting/rights, and at the end you see Beth walk in where Mrs. Pryor is.

Beth is watrissing , and starts talking to this other waiter, whom she tells she's pregnant. (looks like someitng might happen there???)

I love this show too, I was so excited to see thatit was back. I feel like it was forever ago that the last season ended. I always get so emotional when I watch American Dreams!
I so badly just want everything to be OK with JJ and Beth!!!!

...don't forget JJ gets Beth's letter and she tells him that she's preggers.... he can't see out of his one eye so he has his nurse read his letters to him. She then in turn tells him that he should call/write Beth. He calls the house and talks to Beth and tells her that they'll get married etc etc but she doesn't want that or so she says.... the baby is going to be born in December around x-mas and jj's not going to be home till spring...

I was also thinking that JJ may 'find comfort' with the nurse! I hope not, though! I hope he and Beth work things out. I don't think he's going to go home right away, though, I think something is going to happen with him going back out in combat or something.

Well dad has an inside scoop and keeps saying that JJ is going to get killed...

He's been saying this from the beginning cause he heard from someone who works with the show... so we all thought that it was Jimmy Reilly.... but then he came back...
but dad swears up and down that it's JJ..
I HOPE that he's wrong!!!
