Am I the only one who thinks that it is odd that they have had Kelly, Justin and Tamyra on but not Nikki? After all Nikki was in the bottom (top) three of last season!!! Hmmm...

Thanks Rachel!
As for Tamyra's song!! First of all I HATE when others sing that song anyway... no one can beat Judy Garland! Anyway, it was AWFUL!!!!
Justin's version of Unchained Melody was the NOT the best version either!!! Clay's version was MUCH better!!!

Re: American Idol
Lauren, I'm with you. Not the biggest Clay fan ... think he belongs more on Broadway than on a pop star show. He'd be great as the Phantom. I wasn't so impressed with his arrangement of Unchained Melody. And I hate the way he stood there the other night with his three fingers up like 'please pick me, please pick me ...' I hate to see someone so desperate to win .. he's a big brown noser!
I was so sorry to see Kimberly go. I think she's very good. I loved 'inseparable' ... If I'd heard that last year, I'd have picked it as our wedding song!
I hope its Rueben next week ... but I just wish they didn't drag it out another week. They really could've saved Kimberly the heartache & picked the winner this week out of the three of them.

Re: American Idol
I agree Christine! Why did it have to go down to TWO anyway?!
Anyway, talk about dragging it out... next week it's on for THREE nights!!! Mon, Tue and Wed!

Re: American Idol
Lauren, I was thinking the exact same thing about Over the Rainbow - Julie Garland is the only one I ever want to hear sing that song, and she's dead so no more please! And I like Tamyra a lot!
That was the song that got Kimberly her spot in the first place. Why do they want to do the same songs as the contestants?
I think Clay did a better version than Justin, but I like the original of that better, too!
