YAY! I was a huge Ruben fan during the series but I love Clay's song. It just finished playing on Z100.

YAY CLAY! (Even though I am a Kimberly Locke fan)
I rush to my car from the train every night because I know he's z100's #1 at 7pm! He's been the #1 song since his CD was released!
I feel bad Ruben has not gotten as popular, but quite honestly, he really didn't deserve to win. JMO Clay's just voice blows him away.
I bought his single, lol, FH thinks I'm a loser!

Re: American Idol fans
Clay has a lot more personality. It seems to be like pulling teeth to get Ruben to talk during interviews. Clay has a great voice and just somes off more likeable and personable.

Re: American Idol fans
Isn't Clay's single Bridge Over Trouble Water? (you can tell I was paying attention) If that's the one they released, I think a lot of people are buying a song they love already and they like the way he sings it. It's a familiar tune. Ruben's song was not as familiar, so if you don't like the song it doesn't matter how good he sounds, you won't be inclined to purchase. Throughout the competition I loved Ruben's voice while Clay had good and bad songs, but I'd prefer to listen to Clay's single over Ruben's in this case.

Clay's first single is 'This is the Night' a beautiful song and I can see it being a popular wedding song too
