AMERICAN IDOL GIRLS NIGHT

Mikala is still annoying although she wasn't as much so as last week. Janay was terrible and I still don't like Selena Rae.

Jessica and Amanda were good. I still think that Carrie and Vonzell are good even if their week wasn't as good as last week's one.

I'm late on the action- watching it on Tivo...

What really bothers with me with both the guys and the girls is VERY FEW of them from a technical standpoint can hold a note on pitch.. they can do runs and fun passes, but you ask them to hold a note they cannot do it on pitch.. the runs hide that fact and unfortunately America equates talent with singing loud, holding long notes and doing runs..

With that said:

Celena SUCKED

Mikala was VERY smart to do a low key song b/c she was VERY annoying last week.

why on Earth did Nadia pick that song.. blech. I'm snoozing from it and she is SO PITCHY...

Amanda- turn the beat around? total wedding singer song. On top of it I don't know if the song changed key in the middle or if she just hit a really weird note.
It was so bad that I fast forwarded the judges comments.

Janay- I love that song- it's a lot of fun- but please please please- the PITCH- it's KILLING ME. She knows she isn't as good as the other girls.

Carrie- she cannot sing in her lower register at ALL.. again- she can sing loud and high- not soft.

Vonzell- she was OK- but not great either.

I think the women are WAY weaker than the men.
