Did anyone else DVR American Idol? I did, so I could skip commercials, and it freakin cut off before the results!!! I know Jordin won since I looked it up, but I'm so mad!!! (however, glad that she won!!)

Boston Conservatory - very cool! I know some people who went there and loved it! If I decide to go back to get my MM (vs MA in Arts Admin), I'd love to go there, since our plan is to move to Boston anyway. We'll see though, I've been out of undergrad a few too many years and haven't practiced nearly enough to be 'up to par'

Do they have an MA in Arts Admin now? Cool! I know they finally added a music ed major- when I decided to go back to school the head of musical theater dept was trying to get me to come back...but going to Boston seemed kinda silly for me. LOVE going to school in that town. Totally miss it!! Let me know what happens- and if you have any questions about the school, just FM me! My answers might be out of date though- I graduated in 98!

OMG!! Tara you were the first person I thought of during the Beatles medley......Ruben Studdard should never ever ever be allowed to sing the Beatles!!! that was the most lifeless version of Lucy in the Sky I've ever heard!!!!! terrible!! and you're right Carrie actually did 'She's leaving home' some justice. Have you ever seen the Beatles tribute band 'Strawberry Fields'? I've seen them twice....they are awesome!!

YES! I've seen Strawberry Fields at a bar on LI years ago...and then they were at Beatlefest (yes I'm that much of a Beatles nerd) and won the Battle of the Bands. What cracks me up, because their John is a little on the heavyside- when he comes out with the late 60's era long hair, he looks more like Meatloaf than John Lennon! I haven't been back to that Beatles convention in YEARS! FH refuses...he's an Elvis fan.

Ya know what's funny is when I saw them at some bar in the city, their George kind of hit on me after the show!! It started with him asking for a cigarette and it progressed from there....but I just laughed it off b/c he was kind of drunk!! Afterwards I was thinking, hey he's supposed to be the quiet one! lol

I've been to the Beatles Fest too.....I went to one in NJ I think it was back in '99. I don't remember Strawberry Fields being at that one....but we did get to see John Lennon's original band he was in before the Beatles!! I think the name of them was the QuarryMen or something?? they were all dressed up as greasers....too funny!

Yes! The Quarrymen!! I was so sad that I missed them!!! Now that I live in NJ I have no excuse to miss these anymore! I should just go...who cares about FH. Or you could just go with me since you're a fellow Beatles nerd. I'm trying to remember what year I went....I wanna say 99 as well because it was right before I went on tour and met Diane. I only went on the Sunday so maybe I just missed the Quarrymen??? I won the first round of the Beatles trivia contest and made it to the finals!

I think Strawberry Field's Paul is pretty great! Looks and sounds like him too!

I was with my ex too! Our lives are too freakishly parallel!
