Speaking of Constantine, what's the deal with him ripping his jacket off his left shoulder - ALL THE TIME???!!

Okay, I get it .. it's a 'signature move' .. but it annoys the he!! out of me!

But then again, I just have a bias against him because Idol has been pushing him since the beginning .. so NOT fair. They did the same thing with Ruuuuuben. But they created a Constantine bandwagon right from the start.

Has anyone else noticed though .. that guy is TALL!

I agree with the weight comments.

But remember .. Ruben was loved .. 'big teddy bear' .. was never told anything about his appearance, etc .. this season, Scott has had his 'image' pointed out more than once, I believe.

I HATE HATE HATE when the contestants beg into the camera for votes-its' sooooooo lame!

i heard that on EXTRA (the show) they brought back those blonde triples to Simon, that he called fat and he admitted that he was wrong and that they deserved a chance. YA THINK?! like Ruben was so thin--didn't seem to matter because he was a guy--I HATE the way they discriminate with weight.

I hate when one week they tell the contestants that they are playing it too safe and they need to branch out and then the next week, when they follow that suggestion, they are told to stick with that works!!!

They did that to Carrie Underwood this week, but they do it ALL THE TIME!

Make up your minds!!!

I agree!! What annoyed me too was the fact that they told her she shouldn't have sang 'joplin' when really yes, it was a janice joplin song...but country stars have done the same song as well..Faith Hill has a version of that song..which is why I thought maybe Carrie chose it..she should have spoken up!

As already mentioned: the hand tapping on the microphone .. bugs me!! .. but what's even worse .. (one of the girl's last night) .. is when the singer is opening and closing her hand completely out of rhythm.


And I agree with the above posts regarding the Joplin song.

I thought Carrie 'made it work.'

WHENEVER the season is on, my kids come into chorus singing like these idiots who don't know how to sing in the first place! All that vocal training gone down the pooper because of this show
