American Idol predictions?

Yes I did!! And though I am upset that LaToya was voted off. It's not like she died!!! She will have a career!!! And she will be great!

I am so frustrated with this show - I can't believe Jasmine is still there, and the way she was blowing kisses and smiling, like she deserved to be there.

I am not very happy now. My original message didnt post, so I will try to re write it as best as possible.

Anyway....My pick for the american idol originally was Diana or Latoya. What is the matter with america? Did they hear that amazing loud voice that latoya has? I swear she gives me chills everytime she sings.

I cannot believe that she was in the bottom two. I can believe that Fantasia was there though. The other night when she was 'Screaming', yes I said Screaming...I just wanted to pull all my hair out. Her voice is horrible...If she isnt singing like Macy Gray, then she is screaming....That is not good.

The second person that belonged in the bottom two was Jasmine. She was horrible and hasnt been really that good in a few weeks. She was really good at her audition...and for the first few weeks of AI, but recently she hasnt been that great. There are plenty other singers that out sing her....Including George, Jennifer Hudson, and LATOYA!!!! She must of had her family make some calls to all the friends and relatives in Hawaii and have them vote for her 50 times each. That is the only way, that she could of got into the top 3.

I am really praying that Diana Degarmo pulls this off. She had such control over the audience the other night, and she has a great personality and stage prescence too.

I am praying that this show doesnt come back next year, but if it does the producers need to make alot of changes. I think they should make the Judges, the Judges. Screw americas vote. America screws it up...with all the little girls voting for the hottest guy or the most popular person....This competition is for singing....I wonder if America knows that.

It's funny but just from reading this post, it shows you how much everyone's opinions really vary - ya know. I mean I personally think Fantasia has an AMAZING voice - I think she's like the next Aretha Franklin. Her voice is powerful, rich, and different from what's out there already.... I do agree that Diana is amazing, and Latoya did NOT deserve to be voted off. But I don't think Fantasia deserved to be in the bottom two - I think she deserves to win -especially now.
I really feel that Latoya and Fantasia had been the most consistent out of the four - it's really such a shame that Jasmine got through. I can see people having different opinions about Fantasia, Latoya and Diana - but w/ Jasmine I really don't think it's a matter of opinion - she just wasn't as good as the rest.
Oh well....I guess this is why the show is such a shock sometimes- everyone has such different opinions on what's good.

When she started doing that it really pissed me off.

I have already deleted the season pass of AI off TiVo. I honestly don't care who wins.

If the show does come back they need to change the way voting is done. Maybe they should weight the votes and let the judges and America have a say. I think Arsenio's brief show (Star Search???) did the voting that way. I also think they should limit the # of time a person can vote.

Ugh, it should be that you vote for the person you want booted.

I guess this is sort of like the first season when Nicky was in the top 3, and she was HORRIBLE. That's what Jasmine is to this season. She just got sympathy votes. Sort of like what happened with John Stevens except no one we expected to possibly win was booted off instead of him. I didn't think Jennifer Hudson would win. And at least he looked upset when he wasn't booted as opposed to Jasmine.

I missed Tuesday's episode, what judge said what that she cried?

What we don't need is more brittany spears!!! Too many teen idols and no adults with class singing. Brittany Spears in my opinion is a disgusting role model for anyone to follow and Jessica Simpson is as dumb as a door knob, a real nitwit! She is so dumb but yet america still likes her. God forbid we have a singer like LaToya with class as a star, no instead we have to have trashy teen idols like Brittany and Jessica. I just don't understand what is wrong with america but I am understanding why the world laughs at us! We don't know how to pick good talent.

I am so done with this show. I had a feeling LaToya was gonna get booted.....because she is the best---and apparently america is DEAF. I couldn't believe how much Paula was crying--latoya seemed to be handling it a lot better than anyone else! Jasmine's reaction surprised me a little bit. She didn't even really look upset. I couldn't believe all the booing that was going on from the audience! I hope Diana wins. I can't make my mind up about Fantasia. I like her because she is different, but her voice kind of annoys me. I think she lacks some class, unlike latoya--GRRRRRRRRRRR I AM SO UPSET!

Beleive me, I am not a Brittany or Jessica fan at all I think their music is crap but it is the age group that likes them that is doing most of the votes and will buy most of the CDs. Its not just a signing competition its the whole package. JMO though : ).
