American Manicure

American Manicure

One of the brides on a Yahoo board suggested I try this instead of a French Manicure. I was wondering if any of you had this done and where you went for it.

i have no idea either - on bridezilla - one of the brides was telling her whole wedding party they needed that - i was wondering too..

Here is some info I found to answer our question:

With the French manicure, the free end of the nail is painted white while the body of the nail is colored either buff or natural. The American manicure is similar, but the white is softer and the nail body is clear pink. The Canadian manicure colouring is between the French and American manicure colours.

Some of those women on Bridezilla are ridiculous. I didn't catch the one with the manicure request but I did catch the one with Jada who insisted that her bridesmaids all have the same hairstyle and hair color. What is this? The Stepford Bridesmaids?

That Bridezillas show cracks me up, every so often my FI and I tune in and say 'aren't you glad I'm not like that?' I find it's always good for a laugh

Thanks coopersmom for the manicure info, it sounds nice. I have the permanent french nails done, and there are times I wish the white was softer.
