And you can also get another $100 off by booking on an amex card.

That's why we booked with them. However, FH and I did allllllll of the research ourselves (hotels, airfare, prices) and had to ride the Amex person to get her to give us the best deal. she seemed to resent that we were making her do her job.

but, like anything else, this could be luck of the draw with which particular person you get. we used an NYC location, not the Garden City location.

We booked with Irene at AMEX Travel in Garden City on the recommedation of my brother & SIL who used them for their honeymoon. Irene was great. But, like someone else said, I did a lot of the research myself. But then again, I'm a control freak and uber researched every island and hotel that we are going to.

I also wanted to add that Irene answered every question I had and we mainly communicated via email due to my schedule. She was great and always responded to every question I had.
