Does anyone know of someone who had an amnio and it resulted in a miscarriage, infection, or any other risk associated with an amnio?

My girlfriend had one with her second child and had no problems.
I was told that the rate of miscarriage is 1 in 300 to 1 in 400

Ask your dr about it.My dr said that the miscarriage rate from an amnio is 1/250.
