I looked at an amsale dress. It was very simple blue label - 4K. It is the only one I looked at so I am not sure it that is standard for amsale.

Yeah - I thought it was too pricey for something so simple also. But, it is blue label so the regular label may be cheaper - I am not sure. May be worth a trip to their flagship store in the city. I plan to go eventually so I promise to let you know.

This is the one I liked.

i love it though...from looking at peoples old wedding pics i am starting to think that the simpler the better...i dont want my wedding pics to tell the year i was married,....that would be perfect

Thanks. Since I want simple I think I can find something cheaper so I will keep looking. I like this one too (I posted about it before). From what I gather from a store in AC I called, it is under 2K. It is Piccione.

Re: Amsale Dress

amsale dresses can be pricey. Amsale is actually the one who started up the Kenneth Pool line and many dresses are kenneth pool by amsale designed and amsale kenneth pool. I think mine is also kenneth pool by amsale. I didnt look at the label when i bought it but another bride who had the exact same dress has it as kenneth pool by amsale. And then it continues on bc now kenneth pool designs for platinum priscilla of boston

I think amsale starts at 4k.

Also a former liw'er bought a sample sale dress at the amsale store it was amsale by kenneth pool, it retailed for 10k but she bought it for ALOT less since it was a sample, you can definitely look into that

Re: Amsale Dress

Apparently it just came out and there are very few stores noted as selling piccione around here on their site (2 in NY and 2 in NJ) They have it in a store not far from AC - but I just can't get myself out there from Queens to try it on. One place in Larchmont told me to call tomorrow - they think it may have just come in but they need to check! I am crossing my fingers. I really hope I love it on - I have been having so much trouble finding a dress. There is actually also a KP I like - a little funky (it's $$$$ though). I think I am one of those girls that won't get 'the one' feeling.

ugh yeah AC can be a bit of a drive. Well if its brand new and stores are just getting it then give it a few months or few weeks until they start receiving the new stuff. Call the ones closest to you and ask if they when they're going to get it. Well hopefully the one in larchmont will have it already so good luck when you call tomorrow. Good luck, im sure you'll find it soon

I bought a Kenneth Pool by Amsale dress..... If you are interested in the dress call the Wedding Salon in Manhasset they didn't have the dress I wanted in stock but they ordered a sample for me to try on. Veronica is amazing.
Also Kleinfield's is having a sample sale on Sunday so that is another option if you can get a appointment

have you tried all these other stores. I looked up your dress on their site and it lists all stores that might carry it...It even says Rk bridal so try that too

I went to the piccione website and looked up retailers but the list was much smaller than this one. I guess all these are worth a shot so after I call Larchmont I am getting on the phone for most of the afternoon!

I have to agree with you, at first I really wanted a dress with tons of details and now as I look through pictures I'm thinking the same, keep the detail to a minimum.
