i have two people, who attended my wedding, that I was very good friends with, and am no longer friends with. It ended on VERY bad terms..... uhm, what do I write in the TY's?
I think I would. You don't have to get too personal in the thank you card, but do acknowledge their presence and their gifts if they gave you any.
just a simple 'thank you your thoughtfulness on my wedding day' would suffice.
Hmm...that's awkward, alright! What about something very general, like 'Thank you for generous gift and for celebrating our special day with us'??
