An engaged Christmas...

This was a fabulous Christmas especially since it was my first engaged Christmas. FH gave me the key to his heart - it was just a plain key he attached to a letter he wrote me - I'm framing it today. Then my parents went ALL out - I was opening gifts for what seemed like forever yesterday morning.

We got a TON of stuff off the registery - now I know why my mom was pushing me to register. She cleaned up on my Crate and Barrell registery -

We got:

a ton of dishes

some decorative things in case we have our own place by next christmas

A basket full of cookbooks

Serving platters

Linens

It was awesome. FH got his own gifts from my parents - a digital picture frame but he felt like every gift I got was for us which made Christmas that much better for both of us - it was great - my parents reallllllllllllly surprised me!

We haven't registered yet!! but we did get some 'engaged' presents...
My parents got us... a throw for our couch that is costumized with a pic of us I looove it!! We got Lenox Christmas decorations for 'our house' from my grandmother.... we got a linen and things gift card from my aunt and uncle..
FH's parents bought me a cookbook--hint hint lol--
they gave us a blanket that says.. 'Marriage isn't about counting the years, but about making the years count' very cute.. and we got bride and groom hats to wear at our engagement party---tooo cute!!!!!!! mine is a baseball cap with a veil and his is a black hat with a ball and chain lol lol tooo cute!

Those were the 'marriage' related gifts that we got.. then we got tons of other stuff for just us!!! it was definitely an AWESOME CHRISTMAS ---being ENGAGED

My aunt & cousin bought me the Lenox Jubilee Toasting Flutes for the Wedding!!!!!

And my other cousin got us a Hallmark wedding frame, its beautiful.

my mom bought fh & i 2 lenox ornmanments with our names engraved on em.... one of a bride and groom and the other of a mantle with 2 stockings hangin from it...

we expect to be in our own place next xmas... would i be bad to put them up before we're married??? is it like jinxing it ???
