An Intro

Hi everyone. I'm a bit shy when it comes to message boards and I'm always uncomfortable commenting on other people's stuff. I always think that they'll be like 'omg who the heck is this person??' so i figured i'd let you all know who i am!

My name is Kerri. I'm 24 years old. My fiance's name is Will and he's 23. We got engaged at midnight this past new year's eve. We currently live together in our first apartment with our 3 cats, 2 rabbits, and 2 pet rats.
Our wedding is Friday, March 28, 2008 and our reception is at The Fox Hollow.

We're having some difficulty with our ceremony location so I'm not sure where that will be yet.

I have 2 older brothers... who are in their 40's and are no help to me when planning the wedding. My fiance's mother thinks the whole wedding deal is stupid and she's even gone so far to say she's not coming. Not b/c she doesnt like me or us as a couple but b/c she eloped and thinks that's what everyone should do. My mother has a lot of health issues so it's hard for her to get around and help out with major planning other than on the phone. Most of my guys are friends (i'm always looking for a few 'girlfriends'. SO I don't really have anyone local (like in town )to help me out with any of the planning so i'm sure i'll be bugging you with questions all the time.

congrats and welcome! dont worry, many of us are having the same questions and problems here, feel free to ask anything you want!

as for your wedding, the rule is that if you are paying for it, then forget what anyone else says(besides FH ofcourse!)
If parents are helping, well then thats a different story. In any event, you dont have to elope or defend whatever decision you make, its YOUR wedding!

everyone thinks i'm nuts too! i love my ratty rats. we've had them for about 2 years now. they're such trouble makers.

Yup, I actually do spell it the same way - everyone always spells it with a y.
WE're in the Winter Garden for cocktail hour and the Briar Fox for the reception - what rooms are you using?
