Im getting married in Oct 05, and I thought what would be prettier than when we walk out of the church people are given monogramed matchbooks and sparklers to light and wave over us? My mom says NO WAY, what if someones dress (especially mine) gets burned.. I wast something beatiful, and different. Any suggestions?

hmmm maybe not to 'wave' over you but maybe they could do it to the two sides of you and create a walkway...

I dunno about that idea, I wouldn't even be worried too much about the dresses I would be worried about my guests doing it. What if someone burned themselves doing it or lighting them and had to go to the ER. It would definetly put a damper on the day.
Also what about weather if it rains then you are out of some money.

Bubbles would look nice. Rose pedals are alway beautiful. Confetti toss is always cool and colorful. Even a nice fall day, maybe just release some beauitulful DOVES

i personally wouldnt do it because of hairspray issues - i would be afraid someone would go up in sparks
