An update from my extremely bad morning
So, I was all set to quit. My desk was packed up, and I have my resignation letter to go. Than FH called me and told me to come home tonight and talk it out so we can make an adult decision about this. He told me to just take a job for the sake of having a job for now. He said we will have a harder time buying a house if I just up and leave. And he than mentioned that he has some ideas that he would like to discuss with me.
I did, however, inform my supervisor that I will be leaving by April. She's in the same boat as me, and understands completely. I promised this to her and told her also that I will only give a 1 week notice upon accepting a job offer.
With that said, I guess I'm half way out the door. But FH really wants to talk to me first before doing this. I know what I was doing was very rash this morning, but I just couldn't stomach the abuse anymore. But I can't let him down either, because we are team in this.
I will keep you updated on my further actions, but to be honest with you, I think my future here is very very grim. Hopefully FH has some ideas that will help the situation.
