An update on me!!
Hello fellow 06'ers its been awhile!!
Boy do I got alot to tell ya'
First I wanna do a little recap for those who dont already know my story!!
I got engaged Oct 04' then that following Jan got pregnant... My wedding was already booked @ east wind (the estate) for 10/27/06- I was a LIW addict and couldnt wait for this day to come..
As time passed FH (now DH) and I decided it was very important for us all to have the same last name (me him and the baby) so we decided to get married in the JOP this past July, and continue with our BIG wedding at the east wind in Oct 06'
Towards the end of my pregnancy I developed this rare rash called PUPPS and then my father got activated (I had a rough final 2 months). after running tests and things and realizing that the baby was 'fully cooked' I delivered him VIA c-section on 9/30 he was born at 11:06am, he was 7lbs 12 oz and 19 3/4' long... He's gorgeous, and Im truely in love...
Anyways- with my father being in Iraq until Dec 06' and with the arrival of my beautiful beautiful son (and since we are ALREADY married) DH and I have decided to CANCEL our Oct 06' wedding... I cant go through with it without my dad being there to walk me down the isle....
DH and I still wanted to have a real lwedding with photos and such, so we've decided on our one year anniversary to go away to the caribbean (just me and him) and have a renewal cermony there...with the dress, the vale, the flowers the whole sha-bang (just not as drastic) we'll get our photos, and our day to shine, and to me there is something so intimate about it being just him and I...
Thats about it! I wanna thank all of you girls for EVERYTHING- You were soooo supportive while planning, then when I announced I was pg., and again when I announced we were getting married in the JOP...I consider you all my FRIENDS...
I will always peek in here to see how everyones planning is going, and I cant wait to see your photos of all of your BIG day!! However I can always be found over at LIF...
