Is/Did anyone not have inner envelopes? What did you do for single people you wanted to invite with a guest? Did you put it on the outter envelope? I was always under the impression that it's not proper etiquette, so I'm not sure what to do.

I'm using invitation kits that I bought at michaels and they didn't come with inner envelopes so I'm just putting it on the outer envelope. I don't think anyone that I'm inviting would really be offended by it if its not proper etiquette :)

We don't have inner envelopes...we're going to put it on the outer envelopes.

Outer envelope is fine.

If you are using inner envelopes, the 'and guest' goes on the inner envelope only. We are using inner envelopes and this was a meticulous process, but has worked well. If you know the name of the 'and Guest' you can include that person's name on the inner envelope. Good luck!
