We just got back today from a week long cruise and look what the stewards would leave on our bed every night when they turned down the room... i though they were the cutest things!!!
that one almost scared the crap out of me when we walked back in at night!!!

The cruise was nice... I wasn't 100% thrilled with it, but I dont think im a cruise type of person... my favorite parts were getting off of the ship!! We first stopped in Pt Canaveral... we went over to Cocco Beach... we rented an umbrella, and some chairs... it was great! The water was SOOO warm and so much fun! Then we stopped in Miami were we went to South Beach for the day... another really fun day!! The third stop was at their private island... the island was a bit crowded...we went parasailing... it was awesome! Worth every penny!!! then we just relaxed in the water... DONT FORGET SUN SCREEN and to reapply!!! I got the stupidist retard burns!! Our last port was supposed to be the Bahamas, but they cancelled it because something happened to the ship's propeller and they had to start heading back to NY... I was super bummed about that... i was most looking foward to going there! People on the ship got pissed!!
THe food was good also... my favorite was breakfast... we ate every morning in the Garden Cafe which is where they have the buffet set up... then for lunch we would go to the NY Deli, or the buffet or BBQ... as for dinner, we mostly ate in the main dinning room... the portions were small, but it was good because you had room to taste everything, and you could also order two of something if you wanted... some places cost extra to dine in... and you need reservations for most of them.. La Trattoria (italian food) was great... you need a reservation, but it doesnt cost extra...Try and make all your reservations right when you get there, because it fills up fast and then you end up eating at random times...
entertainment was also ok... we mostly laid out at the pool... FI's parents went to all the shows and liked them... Colin the cruise director is HYSTERICAL... he has a thick Scottish accent and has this super flamboent personality... he is so funny!!!
I hope this helps!!! I miss looking out at the water... the color of the water gets nicer and nicer as you head more south... i also feel like I am still moving... i hope it wears off soon!!

thanks for the great review! i am so looking forward to this cruise! that stinks you didnt get to go to nassau. i am looking forward to that port for shopping. thanks for the tips. we'll definitely make our reservations early. ~lacey
