I'm sorry to sound like a complete loser, but what is TWOTY and how do you qualify and what exactly does it mean? Do you get to invite your own guests or is it sort of like an expo in real wedding form? I am very confused!! Haha thanks, sorry to sound like a tool

You're not a loser!!! If you weren't around when it was announced, how would you know what it is?

Here's some info - It's The Wedding Of The Year. Every January, LIWeddings throws a wedding reception at one of the LI reception halls and there's everything you would see at any wedding (DJ, live band, centerpieces, cake, etc etc etc). They pick a bride from the previous year to renew her vows with her husband at a ceremony at the reception hall. This past year, my husband and I were chosen. The bridesmaids were other brides from 2007 and their husbands were the groomsmen. There are prizes for all the guests - the guests are all future brides and grooms. So it's a way for all the future brides and grooms to see vendors in action and also have a great time.
