Ohhh just went through this yesterday. Got in, click click click when I turned the key. Needed a new battery.
Not fun though.

my car was PERFECTLY FINE yesterday. i drove it during the day...got a ticket because my inspection was past due by two days...drove it home...in the daytime so its not like i left my lights on all night. well i had a crack in my windshield which is why i was procrastinating my inspection. so yesterday i called and scheduled a replacement. today the guy comes...he asks for my keys to back the car up...so i give them to him...he calls me back outside to say 'uhhh how do you start this thing' so i told him 'u hafta have ur foot on the break...so he put it on the break...twists the key...nothing. absolutely nothing.' i tried flipping the kill switch on and off ...nothing. checked wiring...nothing.
