Did any of you register for it, did you get any of it and did people think it was weird that you registered for it?

I registered for it... I didn't have my bridal shower yet, so I didn't get it... I do not think it's weird at all...

My friend got all of her luggage she registered for... HEY... it's a necessity!

We registered for four pieces two carry on and two 26' uprights...my FMIL got us the two larger pieces. I don't think anyone thought it was odd...simply b/c they know you are going to go on a honeymoon and not everyone has luggage.

I registered for it and we got all our pieces! Noone thought it was weird. Almost every shower I've been to, the brides have gotten luggage.

We registered for a nice Samsonite set and got all of it at the shower. We wouldn't have had any luggage to use on our HM if we didn't register for it. IMO, it's a great gift!

we registered for 4 pieces and got them all from Al's siblings at my shower. Its one of my favorite gifts. We desparately needed it. We have 2 carry on roller bags, and 2 larger roller bags. (We already had a garment bag)

If it's available at the store where you're registering, I highly recommend Tumi! Especially if you travel often.

We registered for Atlantic. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW EXPENSIVE LUGGAGE IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know if we'll get all of it b/c it's about $1000

We hadn't really thought of registering for it since we have about a trillion bags - but, a lot of people were telling us - since we're getting married, we might as well so we have one nice set - and chances of us ever purchasing it for ourselves were pretty slim.

We had registered for luggage and it is sooo worth it and a great gift that you wouldn't always buy for yourself. Get a different color, other than black (which everyone has), this way you can recognize it coming off the baggage claim belt! I didn't but think that is the best idea.

Rach- go for it! I didn't register for it but would have...our in-laws bought us some for Christmas the year we got engaged. It is so nice to have new luggage. We got ours at Macy's. I can't remember the brand though.

I registered for it too
I put a nice hanging suitcase for dresses etc..
and a large rectangular one w/ the pull up handle and wheels w/ the matching carry on. That's it- the big ones I knew I would never want to schlep around and it can get very expensive.

We registered for it and we got all of it as a wedding present from one of the guests. It was shipped separately to us after the honeymoon, so we just borrowed our parents luggage for the HM.

We registered for it, but we didn't get any of it. We did get lots of other beautiful gifts though!
