Cats vs dogs. Which do you love, hate, prefer, fear, etc?

I love them both! I have 3 kitties and 2 huge dogs. My friends BF is scared of my 6 month old kittens (I'll try and attach photo) but NOT of my 90 pound german shephard!

So what do you girls think?? Meow or Ruff ruff?

I would prefer dogs. One reason being that I am highly allergic to cats. But reguardless I would still like dogs more

i've always had cats - my 2 cats still live at home with my mom. FH has a cat (romey) that's why mine couldn't come with me. then we got sophie, who i love more then anything!

so i'm a meow and a ruff, but between us - i'm more of a dog person shhhh don't tell my cats!

I used to prefer dogs over cats but then we got a cat because were not allowed to have pets in our apartment and cats are quiet. Now I dont think I can ever have a dog after seeing how independent and self-sufficient they are. My cat doesnt need anything except food, water, and kitty litter. She only comes to us when she wants to be with us and isnt overbearing. Dogs can be too much at times. I feel bad saying that cause I was so crazy about them. But theyre like babies and were not ready for that! I also love my cats attitude. She's such a biatch!

i grew up with kitties

I am the same way no help here. I like both. I love cats because they are very much like females even the male one, it takes a lot to phase them. But doggies are so loveable

Well, I love ALL animals, but I am particularly partial to dogs..I have grown up with dogs my whole life...fh and I can't wait to adopt one when we move in together...it is first on our list after our HM

Petey (my cat) is my bestest buddy and Diva(my dog who lives with my parents) is my bestest friend.

I always thought I was more of a dog person... but in the past few years I've become more comfortable around cats than I used to be so it's probably tied.

though if FH gave me a choice right now between a new kitten or a puppy... i'd pick the puppy.
i have enough cats right now!

I love both, but I have to say I am drawn to cats.

I used to be a dog person, but then my ex boyfriend bought 2 cats and i fell in love with them! They were so sweet and pretty. After meeting them, dogs seemed like big stupid lumps compared to the sleek elegance of the cats.

But as I say, I love them both. FH loves dogs and hates (and is allgeric to) cats, so i guess we will be getting a dog.
