My husband has been very kind with my changing body I must say, so I trust him behind the lens. (Though he calls me his baby vessel on a regular basis. Oh, and when pushing me around on the raft in the pool he made mooing sounds...ah yes...chivalry is NOT dead in our home) Besides THAT - he's very kind.

ugh snook I feel your pain! Those pants basically sit up on their own in a chair at dinner I wear them so much! The ANNOYING thing is they aren't maternity! They are from Theory - Woodbury Commons. I bought them at about 2 months, but the drawstring is so loose (and so are the pants) that I have been able to keep pulling them down as I go. Unfortunately, they are very lightweight. Won't be able to wear them soon....

ETA: Maybe you were talking about the green ones...those also - not maternity. From Hollister. Kids these days are really wearing below the belly in a BIG BIG WAY! I bought them two sizes up from normal and they are just super low!

I have a pair of pants that I bought like last year (they were a bit too big when I first got them... now they finally fit) I love them... wear them every weekend... but I can't wear them to work.

hmmm... maybe i'll try buying normal pants 2 sizes too big. I loved the pants at H&M... because they don't have that god-aweful elastic... I just have to get back over there.

I have spent so much on maternity clothes, and hate ALL the pants. The elastic thing kills me. I bought one pair of red corduroys that BORDER on being halfway cool..under the belly though. I haven't worn them yet. My jeans or okay. But slacks just = QUEER. Sad isnt' it?

I totally agree with you about the pants! And to think that these maternity clothes have gotten better... at least they are not all polyester!

Jenny- motherhood has a ton of underbelly which you probably like better. I can also still wear stretch type pants, but in a bigger than normal size. But sometimes, just 'bigger' makes me look just well, BIG whereas maternity fit and look nicer.

Jealous, Jenny ... I'm very jealous!!! I went to Palm Beach this summer & was mortified to take myself out to the pool in a maternity swimsuit!!!! Nothing like the suits I took to Hawaii for my HM in Dec! (oh, well ... pity party is over! )

You look fabulous!! I went shopping in several stores b/f I was really into maternity & bought regular pants 2 sizes up, also. I liked them better & I could RETURN THEM if they didn't fit right ... even a few weeks later! Forget about anything from Motherhood or Mimi. I hate that about those places! I found several cute but inexpensive things in NY & Co.
