And the AWARD goes to.......

Being a DIYer myself, I know that there is a sense of pride that comes over you when you see your finished product. When I started working on my DIYs, I wanted perfection so I started small. Everyone told me that was crazy but it doesn't hurt to try... try.... and try again. My first project was my bridesmaid invitations. I created the templates and cut out all of the items for each of the invites. I finished one...... yes, just one out of eight. The funny thing is,...I can't seem to move forward with the others because I'm constantly looking at that ONE..... with amazement.... it came out better than expected. ..... Of course I'm still tweeking it here and there and getting people's opinions. My FH said that I can sell it to my bridesmaids because it looks professional..... but I'm not ready to let go of the one.... let alone eight. I want to keep them all... when I'm finally finished.

I say all of that to say......... I hope I'm not crazy. Or at least not the only one who is obsessed with my DIYs. If you had to pick, please post your FAVORITE DIY item.... no matter how big or small.

Well, so far I have been doing tons of DIY... just havn't got around to finishing them or better yet, taking pics of them. One of my faves so far are my silk roses... I'll be putting bird seed in them to toss after the ceremony. Here's one pic, more in my album:
