I had three. All VERY last minute. one was the day before the wedding, and two I found the day of. Only one had a good excuse because her father died

a date of DH's friend, however, got into a FIGHT that friday and got a black eye and didn't want to come. really classy

eta; the other was the dad of a family of four. He had teeth surgery or something and didn't feel well enough to come. The whole family gave us a very generous gift so they get a pass

it was a GIRL, his date (DH and I never met her) and I had strong reservations about her since they are constantly on and off it seems.

on hindsight, i am glad she didn't come because she sounds like a mess

You didnt give your final number yet did you? Technically they should allow you to change it at this point, youre still 10 days out!

We had just one cancellation at the last minute, but she had a baby! So we only had to pay for one extra guests that wasnt there. Everyone showed up on that day happily!

Sorry ... Maybe you can adjust it by a few just in case if youve met your minimum. I would take like 4 off and then add more the day of just in case. It shouldnt be an issue.

Yes she dis have a baby and he is the cutest!!'! Have you seen Mason yet? Did you know Gene tried to get her dinner to ho and they said no. I don't think they realised it was foe someone you paid for though. They probably thought he just wanted an extra meal to take home to his wife!!! Haha!

We havent met Mason but we've seen photos online ... We just returned from our HM on Wednesday and I was rushed for a medical test the other day. On bed rest ever since ... never a dull moment.

Anywho, we were not aware that he tried to take food home for momma, but per our contract no food was to be packaged and brought home. It is against the county code for our venue in the event someone became sick etc.

Edit: Clearly on bed rest I cant spell!

Yes I paid for all my 100 guest and 5 didnt frigging show up....4 of them had a validate excuse but either way it sucks.

I don't think this is a big deal. My sister invited 200 and 230 showed up. 30 extra people arrived after dinner so they only charged her for drinks. I'm sure they will find seats for them but you must be prepared to pay for all those extra plates..
