And the drama begins

And the drama begins

My sister (MOH) lives in the city and my 2 BM's are here. My sister IM'd me on facebook and told me that they are not including her at all in the planning of my shower and kind of just took over. And of course I didnt know what to tell her because I know nothing, obvioulsy! So I told her to call them. Should I say something to them? Why does there always have to be a problem!

Ugh, that stinks. Is there a way that you can passive aggressively bring it up, like ask them how the planning is going in a teasing kind of way, and then say something like oh yea, I was telling my sister about some ideas I had about things I would like...but I'm sure you guys already discussed that with her. Kind of lets them know that you know they aren't including her, without coming right out.

Might be a good way to go initially, just to prevent even more drama, or at least to stall to think of a better plan.

I would definitely talk to them i don't think they will get offended. Maybe they thing they are kind of doing your sister a favor by not bothering her with details especially if your sister is older and married, not sure? I'm sure its just a misunderstanding

I agree..Maybe they don't realize they have completely taken over and just think they are doing your sis a favor.

Im sure you girls are right! One of my BM's has been in so many weddings and has planned so many showers that she probably thinks she is doing my sis a favor by taking over.
