I brought the moms and daughters to Kim's Childrens Wear at the Tri-County Flea Market today and found two simple and elegant FG dresses that were the exact color of my dress. One of my FG's will be almost 3 and the other will be 18 months at the wedding. They were very reasonably priced - Thanks for the tip CindyandKevin!!!
When the older one put the dress on, she in her DIVA style, did an adorable little twirl!
I ordered fg dresses as well, but I was nervous about sizing.. my fg's will be 4 1/2 and the other will be 21 months.. what size dress did you order for your girls?

Well our wedding is a lil less than 4 months away. I didnt have the heart to ask the mothers to spend money on dresses to order so thats why we bought of the rack. The older one got a 3T and the younger one got a 24 month size. They both have a little room for growth. The mothers were confident that they would not grow that significantly between now and then to make that much of a difference.

The younger one has been walking for a month now - we were getting nervous. Both girls will be escorted by their big brothers who will both be around 4 and a half by then. The only little one I really worry about is my nephew. He is 2 and a half and walking alone. We are strategically placing certain people (ie parents NOT in the BP as well as the kid's grandparents) at the end of the aisle with big old candy bars and $$$ is necessary to lure them.
I was talking to one of the brothers today and asked him if he was ready. He told me 'no' and that he wasn't going to do it. So I told him it give him 5 bucks. He then agreed to do it. So what if I have to bribe him!!! Ya do what works!!!

We tried our best to find a very simple and elegant dress. I did not want appliques or lace or anything that was simply 'too much' or overwhelming for very little girls. For every decent looking dress, there were dresses that I wouldn't put on a mannequin. I think its hit or miss there. Good luck.
