Sent out our invitations today!
The lady at the Post office was a little b!tchy.....okay, alot b!tchy but whatever they are in the mail!
Now we get to wait for the RSVP cards....finally mail that isn't junk!!
**ETA: We were told we could hand cancel and they would give us the stamp. So we dropped off today and she opened the window and said 'put them all up here' so we thought she would hand us the stamp to do it. After all of the envelopes were in the booth thing she slammed the window shut and yelled 'THANK YOU. NEXT' So we stood there (she had walked away) and she just kept yelling, 'THANK YOU' Until finally she said 'THANKS. I WILL DO THEM YOU CAN LEEEEAVE' So FH said, 'Last time they told us we could have the stamp and do it' She said 'Nope. I will do it. THANK YOU. NEXT!!'
So we walked out and FH stood outside and said 'those invites are never getting out of there with her like that! I don't trust it!' and he walked back in to watch what she did. Turns out SHE hand stamped them. Why would you add that work for yourself when we were willing to do it?!
