what do you think is going to happen? you think his money will get him off once again? this poor kid and family are nor willing to negotiate or settle so i think he's really going down heavy this time...

It sounds like there is a good chance this will go to trial. CA changed the laws of minors testifying after the last run in with Jackson. Even if there is a civil settlement, this poor kid(s?) are required to testify.

It's hard to say without knowing anything.

OJ was convicted in the press before any trial and look at him now? A lot of people already have a preconceived notion about Jackso that an impartial jury would be nearly impossible. I am sure an insanity plea is going to be floating around.

he says he has money....but most analysts say he doesn't have nearly as much as he says he does...still a few million is all you need for some good lawyers...

This new case isn't about the same kid as last time, it's a new child. Supposedly a cancer victim that he helped. Also, the parents are said to have dismissed any claim that they are filing a civil suit. So, they aren't looking for money here. Oh boy.

ETA: It is widely know that MJ is not as well off these days. He is said to be near bankrupt. He has also sold his rights to a few publishing catalogs in order to make some money.
