And, who invited them?'..........Wedding Crashers...

FH told me is having a bouncer @ the door for the wedding crashers... i think he is joking (( shrugs))

what are some more 'nicer' ways to deal with wedding crashers ??

if you're having it at an RH it's kinda hard to have wedding crashers unless you know them and they found out about your wedding and just show up

if it's at a hotel that a diff story...... i'd say find someone big to ask them to leave haha

I don't have to worry about this...mines the only reception at my venue. I've seen this happen at places like larkfield manor that have several rooms...and whats with these ppl...do they really think they are blending in? I believe the hosts of the party asked them to leave.

I really don't expect to have this, although my venue is technically a hotel. I would just have a big guy (and on FH's side there's more than enough of those) tell them to leave. I can't see security being necessary.

I was recently at a wedding (I don't want to say which RH) were several weddings were going on simultaneously and at the end of the night some girl in her mid 20's walked into the reception I was at with her date. She was obviously trying to be obnoxious and 'crash' the wedding I was at (I wasn't 100% sure that she wasn't a guest I just hadn't noticed until the bride unfortunately saw her -just as she was walking out- and was pissed). I wouldn't say it caused a scene though and I doubt many others even noticed.

if you do have it at a place that has more than one room (which mine does) i would give a list to someone incharge and make sure everyone that is there is on the list. But if someone does crash our wedding I have a bunch of big muscle friends which I told already they are in charge of this

I'm having my hostesses check everyone in, if they're not on the list they will be sat at my 'loser' table and once that table is filled up, they will be turned away...now, if they are in deed crashers as in people we definitely don't know...I'll make an announcement for them to leave over the loud speaker

at our eparty we kinda had crashers... my godmother and uncle called and said they weren't coming because we didn't invite their (grown) children and grandchildren...
so w/e... they ended up SHOWING UP! and they saw their names weren't on the seating chart... so I lied and told them that the chart got messed up and they weren't the only ones.. we put them at a table we knew only had 6 people.. they ended up causing a mini-scene and left.

FH and I had said that if they, or anyone else, showed up to the party we'd ask them to leave.. but honestly.. at that moment, we both panicked and its my godmother for crying out loud...

but at the wedding IF there are any crashers (and there COULD be)... we have already asked certain people to 'handle' it... but in the event that I get wind.. I'LL HANDLE IT and thats the last thing these crashers would want on my wedding day.. I'll be in the news 'bride attacks crashers at wedding, spends night in jail'... please watch the headlines in the days following

but honestly- if there are people who do show up and you dont want them there, you ask someone close to ask them to leave, you tell the BM to ask them to leave, and worse case scenario.. YOU ask them to leave. If they stay, there's really nowhere for them to sit. but if you have a situation like I did at my e-party.. ask for another table to be set... but tell them 'you didn't RSVP, I didn't know you were coming'.

also, make sure you bring this up with your RH if you do have a fear of something happening.
