Just got the bank check to pay off the venue tomorrow. And took out like $3000 in cash for tips and paying off balances of other vendors. Taking out that much money in one shot is literally the most stressful thing I've done in a LONG time. It's feeling so much more real now. Can't believe it!

the good thing is that most of our debt is covered (except 8,000 for our honeymoon, which we haven't paid yet) so i'm hoping we get to keep like half the gift money we get on Saturday. It's the only thing that is making me sane right now LOL

Amazing that you're almost there and that its DONE! Gone! Don't even think about it anymore lol
thats what it feels like to take the deposit out when you buy a house… already did that. Hoping the wedding one is a little easier, although after the first one, the second one seems like its going to be harder. All in less than a year. OUCH, my poor bank account! lol

We gave our 10% deposit for our house last month - that hurt! And we close in June so that will be even MORE money to lay out. LOL - i have no idea how i'm even functioning right now.
Ahhhhhh i've been so stressed about money this week. I'm so glad we have each other to commiserate with! My family keeps on saying 'Don't worry, you'll find the money' of course we will but stop telling a bride to not worry!! lol

I can't even imagine! I just stress about coming up with the total amount I can't imagine handing it all over. We are also trying to get through this wedding debt free so if anything goes on the cards they get paid right off. So our honeymoon is going to be paid in full in July. Were hoping to come out of the wedding with at least what we put in or somewhere near it lol. Congrats on making the final payments!

Oh so true! I just gave in my check yesterday & I'm relieved that I don't have to worry about carrying that much on me!!
