Hi, I am thinking about having an engagement party, and originally just wanted a small intimate thing, but when we wrote out our lists of just immediate family and bridal party, it worked out to be 123 people. So now my question is what to do to entertain these 123 people. We are having it at a fire hall with a buffet dinner and cake for dessert. I was thinking about just making up CDs with good background music, but other people told me I should get a DJ.... what do you think? What have other people done?

I had a DJ and everyone had a great time dancing. But if you make CDs with great music, that's fine too. The e-party is going to be your close family and friends so presumably everyone knows each other for the most part and they get along so no matter where you have it or what you do, everyone is going to have a great time.

get a dj i had one a my engagement party everyone was dancing..they had so much fun!!!!
