I'm in the same boat as you. FH would prefer something more traditional so we are going to try to find a photographer who does both kinds of work.

I heard Blue Daisy is good but they are probably almost as expensive as AG.

I think if you look at the websites for the following photographers you'll see that they all do photojournalistic work:

Patken
Duet
Thomas Paul
Sherwood Triart (this one is pricey but maybe not as pricey as AG)
J O V O N (they are blocked on this site and I only found out about them because they left a bunch of their cards at the Designer Loft so I picked one up when I went dress shopping)

I am probably going to look at the first 3 on this list.

We are using TP and have been very happy so far! We did our EP with him and had a great time.

I do like AG, but the price tag was too high. Yes, pictures are important! but it didn't not fit in our budget. I am thinking of day after etc with someone different for a different view, but it will likely be upstate where we went to school...

I am using Denise Chastain/ Modern Wedding Photography.
She is pricey but cheaper than Angelica Glass.

I am very picky about photography and I am not doing video so I was oK to spend a little more...

Maybe you can use AG for your boudoir shoot

I used J o V o n, they did a great job. I don't know how their prices compare to AG, though.

I used AG for my wedding but for my friends wedding AG recommended Henry Chan to her and he did an amazing job and love my friends wedding pics

Ummmmm I also LOVED Heather Waraska but she was equally as expensive.

Obsessed with Punam Bean too, shes INCREDIBLE. She was booked for my date, as was AG.
